Promo Sizes Feature for Web Publishers

Jun 20, 2013 in News

We would like to introduce Promo Sizes feature which you are welcome to test with us.

Why choose promo-sizes?

1. Larger placements with a fixed size and little demand on the large size would benefit from opening up to demand with smaller sizes. Publisher may run 468×60 media size inside 728×90 ad spot, 120×600 inside 160×600.

2. Smaller placements with a fixed size can lift up revenues by opening up to larger sizes
together with 300×250 ad size you may launch 300×600 banners at the same place.

How does it work?

When you have an impression that allows multiple sizes (as in: size 300×250 and promo sizes 300×600), we will run the auction like normal, but will allow creatives of both 300×250 and 300×600 to be eligible. The way our auction process works is we first evaluate campaigns to see if all targeting criteria are met. If so, we look at all creatives associated to the campaign to see which ones are eligible (based on size and ad quality attributes) and what each one’s bid price is.

We then take the highest paying creative for that impression and submit it as a bid in the auction.

We invite you to take part and increase your revenue by gaining access to new inventory.
